Little Bear Canyon

This five foot wide by six foot tall painting draws viewers in with its towering rock walls and horseback rider crossing the Gila River. Based on a photograph the painter took on a crisp early morning in November along the ice covered banks of the Gila River. The rider and horses were not present in the photo, but AnneLiese wanted to include them to honor the Wilderness and the fact that no other transportation has been used in this pristine area.
